Ingredients:
- 1 cup gluten-free oats
- 1 1/2 cup cashew milk (1/2 cup cashews + 1 cup water, left to soak for 6 hrs)
- 2 Tbsp. chia seeds
- 2 Tbsp. raisins
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- banana
Directions:
Raw oatmeal is good or you and so easy to make.
I soak the oats beforehand to reduce their phytic acid content.
I then combine the oatmeal with cashew milk to give it a creamy flavor, but the wonderful thing about this dish is you can add anything you want to oatmeal and it’s going to taste great.
Combine all ingredients together and blend on medium speed until mixed together. I prefer using a lower speed so that it isn’t too pureed since I like a little texture to my oats.
Put into a bowl and cover, put in the fridge and set for a few hours or overnight…. which I love for convenience.
Top with bananas, raisins and a sprinkling of cinnamon.
